I just bought a new moen kitchen faucet, no kinks in the lines, and i checked the aerator. I disconnected the lines to check the pressure from the lines, it is strong at that point which leads me to think it is the faucet or something getting caught in the faucet and restricting flow, but what, and what can i do. The previous faucet had low flow as well. All of the other faucets in the house have good pressure. I found a few specks of rust in the aerator of both new and old faucets. Is there an internal screen in the faucet itself that i can clean? It is a real pain to wash dishes. Need help ASAP.

i’m in a 2nd story apartment in a 2 story building. i cleaned my shower with comet one night. the next morning i go to the kitchen sink and when i turned it on there was a pause like air in the lines and then the greenish water that went down my shower drain the night before came spitting out. i understand that many sinks / tubs all drain to the same place, poor ventilation can cause a back up, but my question is how can the shower drain possibly be linked to the incoming water supply
isn’t the incoming water / outgoing waste water completely two different systems that are not ever linked

Help! I have my house up for sale, so of course everything is breaking down. The central a/c went out, plumbing issues, what next?

My kitchen sink hot water faucet had a tiny drip, and then last week I noticed it running quite a bit around the base of the faucet. Also some at the base of the center spout. The guy at Lowe’s sold me a variety pack of ‘o’ rings, and said that might be the problem.

I was going to attempt it, and turned the shut off valve off tonight, but water started coming from near this valve. I quickly turned it back counter clock-wise some, until it was just a slow drip. I put a bowl there, and hope nothing leaks more overnight.

I looked this up on a few websites, but don’t understand the parts they are referring to…I need laymen’s terms for dummies…and how do I know what is leaking exactly? I can’t really afford a plumber right now on top of everything else.

Any input would really be appreciated. Thanks.
