I just bought a new moen kitchen faucet, no kinks in the lines, and i checked the aerator. I disconnected the lines to check the pressure from the lines, it is strong at that point which leads me to think it is the faucet or something getting caught in the faucet and restricting flow, but what, and what can i do. The previous faucet had low flow as well. All of the other faucets in the house have good pressure. I found a few specks of rust in the aerator of both new and old faucets. Is there an internal screen in the faucet itself that i can clean? It is a real pain to wash dishes. Need help ASAP.

Is the water that comes out of a spout next to the kitchen sink faucet still called tap water?

There’s the main faucet which I use to wash dishes. Then there’s a small spout on the right side of the sink with a plastic lever that I use to fill the jugs for the water dispenser at home. Is the water that comes out of this spot any different from the water from the main faucet?

How do you install a new kitchen sink faucet?

My kitchen sink currently has a hot & a cold knob, and a spout…pretty old fashioned. I want to go and get an up to date faucet with a single lever valve and a detachable spout to rinse dishes, etc. but have never installed one before. What do I do?
