I just bought a new moen kitchen faucet, no kinks in the lines, and i checked the aerator. I disconnected the lines to check the pressure from the lines, it is strong at that point which leads me to think it is the faucet or something getting caught in the faucet and restricting flow, but what, and what can i do. The previous faucet had low flow as well. All of the other faucets in the house have good pressure. I found a few specks of rust in the aerator of both new and old faucets. Is there an internal screen in the faucet itself that i can clean? It is a real pain to wash dishes. Need help ASAP.
We just had a hard freeze for four days. We wrapped our well and put a light on it. Let the water run in all the faucets. We did have one burst hose under the kitchen sink. It was repaired. However we still do not have pressure in the kitchen. Plenty in the bathroom sink and tub. The kitchen is only a trickle whether hot or cold. (it was the flex hose for the hot that burst). Any ideas why the pressure is so low?
My kitchen faucet is all messed up (has a leak, etc). I want to go buy a new one at Home Depot or Lowes, how do I know what size will fit and properly screw into the hole when I remove the old one? Or are all faucets for kitchen sinks the same diameter for the screw hole?
I live in a condo and I’ve been here for about 4 years. Anyways, ever since I moved in, the kitchen sink has had good pressure some days, and then bad pressure some days (and they pressure differences between the good days and bad days is quite big). It never bothered me, but my renters wanted to know if this is fixable since they feel the bad pressure days make washing dishes difficult. All the other faucets (bathroom) and shower heads have great pressure in the condo.
The only other information I can add is that the kitchen sink has had a small leak in it from day one, but it is really small, water just dribbles out, so I don’t think that can be the cause of weak pressure… especially since even with the leak there are days the water pressure is REALLY strong coming out of the kitchen faucet.
Anyone know what the problem is? Or how to fix it? Thanks so much

Removal of the aerator does not help. No one touched the supply valves, the other faucets have normal flow, all pipes are copper. Flow was normal for the first year or two. This time of year the supply water is much colder than it has been, but well above freezing. Should I disassemble the faucet and look for anything? Some adjustment?
I apologize now that I see the question is ambiguous. The flow has already reduced, I am not hasing how to reduce it. Sorry!
My kitchen faucet made a loud thump while i was washing dishes and now i only have half the water pressure. All other faucets in the house work fine and pipes are not frozen. This faucet is the kind that pulls out and can be used as a sprayer . IT has a single handle that lifts up for more pressure and left to right for hot and cold.Any idea what might have happend or how to fix?
