We have little water pressure with the kitchen faucet itself, checked the aerator and it is good. The spray hose is working great. Lines are all open. I don’t understand how the hose can have full pressure while the spout doesn’t?

The hot water in my bathroom works (both shower and sink) and if I turn on the kitchen faucet to cold.. it turns.. but if I put it towards hot.. nothing comes out.. I don’t have a basement so our pipes are in a crawl space under the house.. I live in Ohio so it is snowing right now.. Somebody said it might be frozen.. but wouldn’t the bathroom pipes be frozen too? Any ideas what is wrong and why it isn’t working?!!

We have a new Delta goose neck kitchen faucet. The hot water is lukewarm. We turned the cold water valve down (just slightly) and we now have good hot water. The cold is as it should be. Is this an okay way to handle this situation?

In the process of replacing my kitchen faucet, I discovered that I need new shutoff valves. Do I loosen the big nut that is closer to the back wall or the body of the shutoff valve?

So I went to install a new kitchen faucet. Got it all hooked up nicely, but the hot and cold are reversed! Temperatures worked fine on the previous faucet, but they are backwards on this one. Any ideas?
My cold supply is on the left and the hot is on the right. I cannot switch the inputs into the faucet because the supply lines connect to the faucet with PVC pipe and not flexible lines. I will try adding flexible lines, but can the PVC be removed cleanly from the copper joints?
This also means that my dishwasher is being fed water from the cold supply, is that correct as well?

Im installing a new kitchen faucet. I have disconnected all hoses and the sprayer from the kitchen sink. I have disconnected the handles and stem.
My problem is Im not sure how to remove the two washers directly under the sink handles for cold and hot. Once I get them off I should be able to remove the remaining locking nut on each side.
Any suggestions to get these rusted pesky washers off?
I have the following tools at my disposal:
Basin Wrench
Pliers
Screwdrivers
Drill
Dremel Rotary Tool
Small Chisel
Hammer
Mallet (Metal and rubber)
plus pretty much any other basic tools.
Any help much appreciated.
Oh yeah, I meant to say the washers are in the cabinet area of sink, directly under the handles. I believe it’s considered a bottom mount faucet.

Every other faucet in the house works but our kitchen faucet is not giving us any water. Anyone know what the problem could be?

I replaced my kitchen faucet, everything is good, except the chrome finish deck plate, and plastic putty plate. It’s coming loose and water is getting underneath. The sink has the three holes drilled, and the deck plate covers those (the new sink and the old was a single handle pull out). The old deck plate had bolts and screwed in to the two outer holes, like a dummy I threw it away. The new deck plate just uses plumbers putty, no matter how much I use it still comes loose. Now I would like to find just the deck plate for my sink that I can bolt down. Any one know where is a place that sells those separately?
Or is there a solution for no deck plate? How would I cover the holes?

We installed a new kitchen faucet and sink and it knocks when we turn the water on. I have heard about the water hammer when it is turned off, but this is only when we turn it on. It does not happen to any other faucet in the house. What could my problem be and how do I fix it?
